Biography

Dr. Gloria J. Foward

Dr. Gloria J. Foward was born and raised in Anniston, Alabama.  Based on her academic achievement, she was awarded a four year scholarship to attend Talladega College, Talladega, Alabama.  She received a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biology and minor in Chemistry.  She also received her Master of Arts Degree in Management and Supervision from Central Michigan University.  Dr. Foward was awarded the Doctor of Philosophy and Doctor of Education degrees from International Apostolic University of Grace and Truth. 

Dr. Foward obtained a position at Wright Patterson Air Force Base as a Chemist.  This career appointment initiated her Federal Service career.  During her tenure in Federal Government Service she was also trained extensively in the Management Engineering field.  The Lord has blessed her to acquire education and training in many diverse functional disciplines to include Management Engineering; Manpower and Organization Analysis; Planning and Programming; Quality Management; Competition Sourcing; Business Process Reengineering; and Quality Course Development and Instructions.  She has been the recipient of many Outstanding Performance Awards throughout her Federal career. She retired April 24, 2001 after 34 years of dedicated service. 

Dr. Foward was baptized in Jesus Name and received the Gift of the Holy Ghost at Bethesda Temple, Dayton, Ohio in 1972.  She later became a member of Christ Temple Apostolic Faith Church, Dayton, Ohio under the Late Pastor and Founder Bishop Fred Majors.  She was ordained and served the ministry in various capacities.  She is a member of New Life International Prophetic Outreach Ministries and serves as Pastor of Education under Senior Pastor, Prophetess, Dr. Mary L. Griffin.  She also serves as the church Executive Administrator and Sunday School Superintendent.

In pursuit of excellence in higher education, Dr. Foward founded Grace International College on October 6, 1993.  The Late President and Founder Bishop Dr. Louise P. Freeman appointed her as President of International Apostolic University of Grace and Truth on July 15, 2000.  Both of these schools are chartered in the State of Indiana and accredited by the Accrediting Commission International located in Beebe, Arkansas.  By the Grace of God, she has been instrumental in establishing, organizing and directing over 30 accredited satellite schools located throughout the USA, Canada, Jamaica and England . The Lord has blessed her to author several books and serve as an International Teacher and Consultant, seminar / workshop presenter with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (PAW), World Assemblies of Restoration (WAR), Apostolic Assemblies of Christ (AA of C), Prophetic Miracle Ministries Worldwide (PMMW), Power Outreach Ministries, International Christian Apostolic Fellowship and International Pentecostal Association of Churches (I-PAC).  She realizes that without God we can do nothing.  However, she affirms positively, "I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me", (Philippians 4:13). 

Dr. Foward Loves her husband, Elder Dr. Alphonsa Foward, Sr. and children; Sharon, Derrick, Alphonsa Jr., Deborah, Joy and Valerie.  She is blessed to enjoy her grandchildren; Barrett, Kameron, Jason, Alicia and Ashley.  She is grateful to God for the Love and support she receives from her extended family members.
